山峡工芸は草木染や着物地の袋物を作っています。
来月の14日に泰阜村のJA祭に出店するものも、こうして作った袋物です。
今年は私が一人で染色と制作をしているので、それほど数は出ないのですけれど、
数点ずつ、形を変えて、販売する予定です。

早く作るだけなら問題ないでしょうが、使いやすく、持ちが良く、丁寧に細部まで気配りが仕上がって、その上で早いとなると、これが中々思うように短時間では難しいです。
ということで、私は早く仕上げることは未だに出来ません。
熟練の腕を持つ人たちは、日々の仕事と経験とその仕立ての持つ責任が半端ではない量なのです。私には、とてもとても・・・
数週間後の出店用に予定を立てて、作る数をこなすのみです。

ものを作ることは、どんなに経験を積んでも、目指す場所には到達しない気がします。
だから夢中になれるのでしょうね。
